Give Thanks takes place Wednesday, November 25; Friday, November 27; and Saturday, November 28, 2026 at San Jose Convention Center. There is no event on Thursday.

Give Thanks is cashless and accepts cards and mobile payments. Purchase drink tickets for alcoholic beverages; bars do not accept cash or cards directly.

No. Smoking and vaping are prohibited, and vapes are not allowed inside. Sealed packs of cigarettes are permitted, but the no-smoking policy still applies.

Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags: up to 12 × 6 × 12 inches. One-gallon clear freezer bags are allowed. Clutches: up to 6 × 9 inches, with or without a strap; they may be clear or non-clear. Empty hydration packs may also be clear or non-clear, with at most two main compartments and one smaller compartment. Tinted, iridescent and opalescent bags do not qualify as clear.

No same-day re-entry, camping or tailgating. Keep designated dance floors clear of sitting. Moshing, crowd-surfing and stage-diving are prohibited, as are unauthorized vending, solicitation, handbills, sampling and giveaways. Smoking and vaping are not allowed.

Empty reusable water bottles; qualifying hydration packs; deodorant; glow accessories and LED hoops; consumer still cameras; handheld video devices under six inches; GoPro extension poles; empty misting-fan bottles up to 1.5 liters; qualifying flags, handmade signs and totems. Sealed cigarettes and lighters are permitted, but smoking is not allowed.

Do not bring weapons, pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, toy or water guns, slingshots, illegal substances or drug paraphernalia, vapes, aerosols, glass, cans, cups, coolers, outside food or drinks including candy and alcohol, drones or remote-controlled toys, balls or frisbees, lasers, air horns, gas masks, massagers, markers, pens, spray paint, stickers or flyers. Tents, large umbrellas, chairs, inflatable sofas, red light-up wands, batons and lightsabers, and public-safety-uniform costumes are also prohibited.

Consumer still cameras and handheld video devices under six inches are allowed. Professional equipment, detachable lenses, large zoom lenses, tripods and commercial recording rigs are prohibited.

Totems may be up to ten feet tall and must use lightweight materials; solid metal is not allowed. PVC, lightweight wood or aluminum poles must be no more than one inch in diameter. Bring inflatables deflated for entry. Hard flagpoles, corporate branding, dangerous items and messages promoting hate or illegal activity are prohibited.

Prescription medication must be unexpired and accompanied by proof of prescription. Speak with a safety official at entry. Over-the-counter medication is prohibited.
